Two BULLET IN THE HEAD deleted scenes… and an apology

I’d like to apologise for my missed update earlier this week, so please forgive me. However, remember under where it says The Reel World at the top of my blog, it says updated several times a week, please take note of that.

 

Warning: contains spoilers to the film Bullet in the Head

These are two scenes that should’ve made it into most of the cuts in John Woo’s second best film (after The Killer), Bullet in the Head. The first one below is a rather infamous scene (although not that necessary to the storyline) where Ben (Tony Leung Chiu Wei) is forced to drink whiskey and when he and his two other friends Frank (Jackie Cheung) and Paul (Waise Lee) are forced to drink urine.

The next one below is the alternate ending, which I must say is the more appropriate ending rather than ending the film with a car joust, which I thought was a bit unnecessary. However, there is a clip of it on YouTube but not in its original Cantonese language, that’s why I didn’t want to embed the video in this post. The URL for this scene is below but it’s in still shots and each one of the shots has a text below explaining what is going on.
