The remakes of EVANGELION
Neon Genesis Evangelion is one of my all-time favourite anime sagas and it’s getting remade by the same company that invented it, Gainax. Instead of it being a TV series and one movie (exluding Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth), they’re gonna make it into four movies. The first three movies will be the reworking of the TV series and the fourth will be the new conclusion. I saw the preview for the first movie but the only improvement for all I know is that the animation is better.
Wacth the trailer below.

But wait, there’s more: Hollywood is going to do a live-action version of the saga. Yep, one saga getting remade at the same time by two different companies. I reckon that the Japanese remake will be better since Hideaki Anno (the creator of the Neon Genesis Evangelion saga) is one of the two directors directing the four Japanese reworkings. But hey, I’m sure the American version will be good as well…I hope.

Evangelion has fooled people on both sides of the Pacific into thinking it’s really “deep”. Really, though, it’s just about an angsty teenager, trying to get laid.
Nothing can beat the far more awesome Fooly Cooly!

(SPOILER ALERT)
Actually PlatinumSnowcat, he’s afraid of getting laid. If you want to know why, I suggest you re-watch the TV series (except for the last two episodes) and the movie THE END OF EVANGELION, since there are a number of reasons why.

I can’t say I’ll be bothered too.
