I see the HALLOWEEN remake as an upcoming treat
When I first heard that Rob Zombie was remaking John Carpenter’s classic slasher movie, Halloween, I was really negative about it until a few months later, I flicked through Empire Magazine and read the Rob Zombie interview talking about his remake of Halloween.

Rob Zombie said that he loved the original version but he wanted to create his own version, which will also involve restarting the series because he didn’t like the sequels. Remaking or creating your own version doesn’t always mean copying. He said if you remake just by copying it and not giving it anything different, then what’s the point? I like this guy’s thinking. After reading this interview, he changed my thoughts on remakes.

But what different things, you might ask? He said he’s going to get rid of the supernature from Michael Myers, which will help make the film and the series realistic.
I must myself to looking at the reworking of the Carpenter classic. But if it’s shit, than I’ve been tricked but then again, it’s going to be the start of the new version of the series, so I guess sequels can be better.
